“And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers” (Deuteronomy 6:23).

God always brings you out of something into another. You cannot claim to have severed ties with ungodly friends and relationships when there are no positive, godly relationships around you; it just wouldn’t work! This is the reason a lot of Christians still keep going back to the negative stuff they have left. They have not learnt to fill their hearts an lives with godly stuff (Romans 12:1-2, Philippians 4:8). They have not learnt to fill up the vacuums in their lives. They have not learnt to enter into positive, godly relationships after they have severed ties with ungodly ones (Psalms 1:1-3.

God always brings you out of something into another. You cannot be permanently delivered from negative habits and addictions if you don’t learn to replace them with positive ones. Remember the scripture about the unclean spirit sent out of a man (Matthew 12:43-45)? The unclean spirit (negative habits, addictions, sins etc.) will always look for an opportunity to come back in if it sees that your life is empty.

Your life cannot be a vacuum. It’s either you fill it with positive habits or you would soon be overtaken by negatives ones that God once delivered you from (Galatians 5:1). This is why a lot of people do not experience permanent deliverance. It is the wisdom structures that you build around your life that would make you live a life of perfected, permanent and perpetual victory.

God always brings you out of something into another. You are either a sinner or a saint; there is no middle ground. There is nothing like a sinning (or sinner) saint, there can only be a saint who falls into sin. No truly born again person makes a habit of sinning (1 John 3:9), else he is not genuinely saved. You cannot continue in sin and claim you are under Grace (Romans 6:1). You would soon suffer disgrace by doing that.

Falling into sin as a child of God does not change the fact that you are still a saint. You need the conscious understanding of your saint status to get out of that sin or mess. But once the devil succeeds in confusing you that you are no longer a saint but a sinner because you fall into sin, he has got a handle in your life to keep you down. You need to rise in the strength and energy of the consciousness of your righteousness in God to subdue sin and to live out the life of righteousness expected of you by God (2 Corinthians 5:21).

May you receive a special baptism of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God today in Jesus name!
