A young lady shared the story of her deliverance with me the other day. According to her, she was fighting her female gender wishing and trying to be a male. But when she came into the right atmosphere of teaching and understanding, she became aware of her identity as a female. She has come to terms with the female power.

Friend, there is power in the female that needs to be understood and harnessed. Contrary to what some people think, the female is not a lesser version of the male, but a different version of man. Man is not only male; man is the creation that God made in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). The female is as much a man as the male.

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone…” (Genesis 2:18). Notice that at creation, everything that God created was good, except the absence of the female in the life of the man (Genesis 1:31). This means that the male man and the world at large (home, Church, work place etc) are not and would not be complete except there is the presence and contribution of the female.

Few men can do without a wife but no man can do without a woman (Genesis 2:18). God began every man with and from a woman (1 Corinthians 11:11-12). The supply of help given to the male through the female begins from the womb; then as he grows, God begins to connect him with other women; sisters, friends, wife, daughter etc.

The way a man sees and handles the woman in his life would determine the direction and potency of his life. A man is to give definition to every female in his life (Genesis 2:23). When you don’t define the female in your life properly, you would misbehave towards her or abuse her. Your mother is different from your wife, your female secretary is different from your daughter.

The female supplies care that is not normally found in the male. An uncaring and unloving woman is not normal. The woman is not commanded to love; it should flow naturally (Ephesians 5:22-25). The woman determines the colour of her environment (home, church, family, society etc). The woman keeps and nurtures; supply her seeds and she would return with harvests.
