“And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons” (1 Samuel 16:1).

You have a place in destiny. You have a place in the purpose and agenda of God. There is a portion of Grace that God has ordained that you carry for your generation. You have a slot in the program of God. You have a lot in the things of destiny. You are not supposed to be a wanderer but a wonder. You are not supposed to just be a statistics, you are ordained to be a person of significance, a person of value to God and to humanity. This truth must permeate your conscious and subconscious being. It must undergird your pursuit in this crucial time and season.

God is in the business of placing people, the devil is in the business of displacing people. You don’t qualify yourself for your place, it is an election of Grace (Romans 11:5, 1 Corinthians 15:10). But you must keep qualifying yourself to maintain your place in God and your slot in destiny. Your place is not permanent, it is a function of your commitment to God and the demands of destiny. Don’t let the devil displace you so God would not have to replace you. God loves you forever but He will not choose you forever.

Several folks in the Bible missed their place in God; they were displaced by the devil – sin, carelessness, frivolity, complacency and all that (Acts 1:20). Make up your mind never to fall victim of these. Remember that while Saul was messing up, David was warming up. Make a decision today to live your life in such a way that your substitute will forever wait in vain. God will have no reason to replace you. You will not be injured in the journey of destiny. You will not be unfit. You will not underperform. You will keep giving your best to God and His purpose for your life as you make your calling and election sure (2 Peter 1:10).

You need to find your place and stay there; if you are not in place, you are in space. Don’t loaf around. Don’t be here and there. Know where you belong as far as the eternal purpose and counsel of God are concerned. Always ask yourself; “Where is my place? What is my place in this place?” In choosing the right Church, ask yourself, “where is my place (Church)?” And when you get hooked to the Church, ask yourself, “where is my place in this place (Church)?” Don’t just be a face in the crowd, belong to a flow and a kingdom activity going on in that Church.

As far as career and business are concerned, you need to ask yourself, “what is my place (career, business, ministry etc)?” Then ask yourself, “what is my place in this place; where do I belong in career, business and ministry?” You must not be a jack of all trade and master of none. You must be generally special and specially general. You must find your place, stay there and pour yourself into it so that your progress will be evident to all (1 Timothy 4:15). Don’t let the #Covid-19 pandemic make you wander through the remaining days of the year; you are ordained a wonder, and not a wanderer (Isaiah 8:18).

Don’t let the devil displace you so God would not have to replace you. Don’t get out of place so you won’t be a wanderer in space. Hold fast to what you have lest another man take your place (Revelation 3:11). Your place is not permanent. You have got to keep qualifying yourself. Don’t forget that, when some are messing up others are warming up. God cannot be boxed or stranded. Don’t frustrate the Grace of God or take His mercy for granted. When you find your place, take your part, and get your portion. Don’t just be running after privileges and profits. Your portion, privileges and profits are in your place.

May you not be displaced in life and destiny in Jesus name!
