Statement of FaithWe believe and teach the following, among others.
The Centrality of God’s Word
We believe the word of God is supreme and central to all we do and must be obeyed in all circumstances. (John 1:1, Psalm 119:89).
The Triune Godhead
We believe in the existence of God as the one and only God and supreme. We believe He exists as God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit; equal and divine. We believe Jesus was manifested in the flesh. We believe the Holy Spirit is the representative of the trinity on earth. (1 John 5:7, John 1:1)
The Need for Genuine Salvation
We believe the human race is lost without Christ. Every human being must genuinely accept and confess Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour confessing and forsaking their sins and receiving the gift of righteousness. We believe one’s experience of salvation must be followed by baptism in water as an outward show of the inward experience of new birth (Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:17).
The Holy Spirit
His Baptism, His Gifts, Fruits and Daily Working in the believer: we believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit and exemplary life through the fruits of the Spirit. (John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22-23)
The Communion Table
We believe in the frequent partaking of the Lord’s Table as instructed by Jesus with the use of the bread symbolizing the body and the wine, the blood of Jesus. We also emphasis the benefit and blessing it holds for the believer. (Luke 22:14-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)
We believe God wants His people healthy; free from all manner of sicknesses and diseases. (3rd John 1:2)
Church Relationship and Responsibility
We believe every believer belongs to and relate with the physical body of Christ and is called to participate in the kingdom activities going on in the church and should play their part. (Romans 12:4-16)
We believe spiritual leadership is instituted by God to be followed, obeyed and submitted to. (Hebrews 13:7,17)
We believe the church and her members are situated in a society and as such are to be responsible for the health, progress and prosperity of the land. (Psalm 122:6-9, Romans 13:1-7)
We believe all believers are made righteous by the finished work of Christ on the cross and as such must live a life of holiness and maintain purity of heart by the help of the Holy Spirit. (Hebrews 12:14)
We believe and preach the word of faith for victorious life and maximized destiny. (Habakkuk 2:1-4)
We believe God delights in the prosperity of His people. We believe that financial prosperity gotten in God’s way is a tool to fulfill divine purpose and advance the kingdom of God. (Psalm 35:27, Zechariah 1:17).
We believe every human being is created with and for a purpose and life must be lived to fulfill the same. (Jeremiah 1:1-5)
We believe in being financially accountable to God recognizing Him as the giver of all good things by faithfully paying tithes, giving offerings, sowing financial seeds and being involved in kingdom projects at all levels. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
Life after Death
We believe this world is just a passing phase; there is a life beyond the now. We either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell and after death comes judgment (John 14:1-3, Hebrews 9:27)
Christ’s Second Coming
We believe Jesus is coming back again as He promised us in His word and such we are to live our personal lives at all times prepared for His coming. (John 14:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 John 3:2-3)
Soul winning/Evangelism Lifestyle
We believe we are saved to serve and as such must be committed to a lifestyle of evangelism. (Proverbs 11:30, Romans 1:16)
